   I Karen Thanks for the message. I need your help. I just got a dane about a month ago. I had her on puppy food but after seeing all the post about NOT doing that I put her on adult. Her hair is now falling out in places she looks like a zebra. I have went around and around with this issue. I had English mastiffs before and they were on Diamond I had nothing but medical problems and eventually lost them both do to the recall. I am desperatley looking for a food that is good for her. Please any suggestions I am willing to hear. This has been such an issue for me and I have only had her a month. The breeder had her on nutro max puppy but she had loose stools and it stunk to high heaven and she also had little bumps all over her.. What do you recommend.

   I don't know if you know anyone in the dane rescue but over hear at the pinellas humane soc on mc mullen booth road there is a female dane for adoption she has been there awhile now. I don't know anyone on this side of the bay that could help get her out.

   thanks for the info! i'll pass it onto the lady that runs rescue. not sure what her relationship is with that facility... a lot of them will keep the dog for a month or so trying to adopt it out themselves before calling a rescue group.

   Thanks Karen!
   It is very interesting--the rescue, education, and community events are what interests me the most.
   Some of the group are heading for Nationals---I'll stay home and mind the dog parks.
